We loved the curriculum and seeing tangible learning and growth in our daughter's reading and reasoning abilities. The teachers were supportive and very knowledgeable when our daughter went through an attachment phase around the holidays.
We couldn’t be happier with our Primrose experience of the last 6 years. All the teachers and staff know our 3 kids by name—even those outside their classrooms—which makes it feel like a true community. It’s clear they genuinely care about every child’s development and well-being. The leadership is second to none, setting the tone for a warm, supportive, and high-quality environment.
We have been at Primrose for almost 5 years and can't thank the teachers enough for their kindness. We've watched our daughter grow, learn and truly enjoy being at Primrose. Thank you for everything you do!
It’s hard to put into words just how special Primrose of West Plymouth is. Our son faces challenges related to social, emotional, and behavioral regulation, and rather than viewing him as a difficult or disruptive child, the leadership and teachers at Primrose have truly partnered with us to support his growth with compassion and intention.
When we first transitioned to Primrose, our son experienced a few emotionally turbulent weeks. I braced myself for the kind of meeting I’d grown used to his previous pre-K setting—one that would leave me feeling defeated, guilty, and unsure of how to help him succeed.
But that’s not what happened.
Instead, the school director began the meeting by assuring us that they didn’t expect perfection from our son. She shared that the staff had already met internally to discuss how they, as educators, could better support him. She had asked the teachers to reflect on a moment when he had acted out—and together, they explored the situation from his perspective. They thoughtfully examined what he might have been feeling in that moment and collaborated on new strategies to help him regulate more effectively moving forward.
This level of empathy and self-reflection—especially in situations where it would be easy to simply blame the child—is, in my view, the clearest sign of a truly exceptional and compassionate early childhood education environment.
The teachers are genuinely committed to learning and adapting. At pick-up, they regularly share insights about the day—what strategies worked well, and where we might continue the conversation at home. Their intellectual curiosity around child development and their deep dedication to helping every student thrive have made an immeasurable difference in our lives. Their patience, resilience, and care in the tougher moments have not gone unnoticed—and we are so grateful.
I wholeheartedly recommend Primrose of West Plymouth to any family seeking childcare—not only for those with children navigating emotional or behavioral challenges, but for any parent who values kind, engaged, and thoughtful educators who are deeply invested in each child’s success.
The curriculum is great and I think it pushes students. We really enjoy the teachers we have currently and they seem to genuinely care about our child's experience and development.
Teachers are amazing, they are very invested in the child’s development and take good care. The management is also very caring and supportive. The environment is nurturing and my kid feels happy and safe.
The staff is incredible in all possible ways! I know my daughters are getting the opportunities to develop and grow under the teachings of the staff; I know my daughters are safe and cared for and allowed to bring their unique selves to school.
We love Primrose, the leadership and the teachers. The teachers are caring, kind and genuine. Leadership is experienced. and responsive to the needs of the kids/parents. We love Primrose West Plymouth!
We absolutely LOVE the staff at Primrose! It is very clear that the teachers genuinely care about the children and are passionate about the development and well-being of our children.
We transparently have had only one bad experience with a teacher there. She showed unprofessional behavior to myself, spouse and my mother. It was not a good fit. After transferring my child out of the room, it's been a night and day difference and we cannot say enough kind words about the caring individuals that work with our child each and every day.
I love Primrose. I feel like my baby is well taken care of. She is happy here. Her teachers Ms. Chong and Ms Carol are amazing. I would likely recommend this place
The entire staff is incredible -- leadership, teachers, chef, admin and everyone in between. Every teacher knows our kids by name regardless if they are in their class or not, the leadership team is second to none, and our kids are excited to go to Primrose every day! Best decision we've made is sending our 3 boys to Primrose of West Plymouth!
The teachers are great! Pre-K B go above and beyond (it so so heart warming), PSP teachers are amazing and so helpful! Other staff that are not even teachers to my kids are so kind; one day I was having difficulty getting my youngest in the carseat and 2 teachers stopped by asking if they could help get her in the carseat; Ms. Mary even let her use her favorite hand lotion...and it worked! Ms. Heather, Ms Giulianni and Ms. Mackenna are very approachable and easy to talk to. It is hard to see these great teachers suffer due to being short staffed, its a high enrollment location and the caliber of teaching is superior over any other schools we have been to.
I really appreciate how responsive the teachers are (though it can vary from class to class), and how much they genuinely care for the kids throughout the day. It’s wonderful to see my child actively participating in so many classroom activities.
Love that we receive pictures and updates (almost) on a daily basis!
