The Providence YMCA is truly a family friendly environment. I enjoyed the relationships I have had in the past, and I treasure the bonds I currently have. I don't just have a membership, I have an extended family. The staff is personable and pleasantly greet me each time I arrive and also when I leave. The Y also provides food and toiletries to those in need. The instructors really enjoy being my/our motivators, trainers and "cheerleaders." The Providence YMCA Is a family oriented organization that provides services for all, I really enjoy the aquatic area , it gives me the opportunity to work on my core skills. Thanks to Sabre for managing this area. I give thanks to Kim& Justine for their managing Providence YMCA making it my special place to hang out & workout !

In the words of Judy May, the widow of my former pastor, the Y provides fellowship. Personally I have made friends at the Y who have been so for years. Now my wife participates in Waylon’s Silver Sneakers classes and this adds needed support and fellowship to her advanced stage of dementia.
