MONS
The movers were efficient and friendly at both ends. Nothing was lost. There was only some minor damage to a piece of furniture but it is repairable. The process was generally smooth from our perspective. On the flip side, we had an issue with QMM, following the advice of their Belgian contact to delay the shipping until after we were officially registered as Belgian residents. We were returning citizens, we had a temporary address in Belgium for administrative purposes, QMM had all our stuff, and the risk, if any, was ours. Because of this 10-day delay, the container arrived in Antwerp on the Friday before the July long week-end in Belgium, hence C$ 480 in demurrage fees.
