Everything that is needed for a work out is available. Nice gym good staff and trainers.
Clean and well laid out. Patrons are courteous and friendly. Great protein drinks.
I appreciate the cleanliness. I am an early morning person and Keegan is doing a great job. The gym floor is looking better than it has in a long time. I see more evidence of your closers doing their share of the maintenance too.The women's locker room could be maintained better. Trash over flowing, random hair and paper scraps, cruddy sinks and counters and dust in the corners send the wrong message. The carpet needs deeper cleaning and edging also.
Equipment wise, I appreciate the rower and batteries in it. I have been rowing for many years and showed Keegan and Alex where the batteries go as well.
Many of your ellipticals and treadmills need to have the headphone jacks replaced. They wear out over the years. This is no more than regular maintenance and cost effective if you do a bunch at the same time.
What's going on with the other room? It has been out of commission for the better part of a year.
Simple things like opening on time consistently, maintaining equipment, and cleanliness will keep your membership. If you opened earlier on the weekends I wouldn't need 2 gym memberships. But that's me. The early morning people are consistent and loyal.

I am a new member, yesterday Nate approached me and said give me a txt when you’d like to have your first coaching! I have never worked out before and he made me feel so welcome!!! I have not booked with him yet but what a great person that is the face of your company!
The gym is less crowded than any other gyms in the area. The equipment is usually in good shape. The music is usually different but still nice to listen to.
That Lysol smell in the women's locker room is still way too strong. Some of the lockers are dirty and could use a quick wipe down.
It would be nice if classes didn't cost extra to take, or if we got a free one per month or something with the basic membership! :)
New manager Alex and staff, Including Anna and Keegan are quite a nice addition to your facility. They are very helpful informative and there when you need them. For a while I was wondering what was going on and thought this place is not going to make it. I know I come during the day when there are less people but the people that were working there didn’t want to be there. Truly and I did have a couple tell me that to my face. They felt that they were not treated fairly and exuded that feeling to your clients.
This crew seems to be dedicated and want to make retro fitness a place to be proud of. Your employees are your best representation of your facilities. You need to have good people working for you and I do believe you do now. Owners need to realize and Express positivity to these employees. They are doing a great job trying to meet your expectations and more..
The place is spotless and the folks are always trying to keep things clean. One of my neighbors was chatting with me and heard bad things about retro fitness and how dirty it is there. I really never thought it was dirty but now there is extra extra effort being taken to keep the machines working well and the facilities pristine. That will hopefully attract more clients.
I do think that a newsletter once in a while would be a great addition to your clients. A reminder about the $39 maintenance fee would have been advantageous to eliminate calls and questions to your staff about something that was not ever explained at least to me. I understand but that’s something that you could’ve possibly put out in a fast email saying hey it’s August don’t forget You will be You will be seeing a charge for the maintenance fee. A gentle reminder would’ve eliminated the questions. And honestly it was never explained to me when I signed up but it is what it is.
I hope you see what you have there and do your best to try to grow it and make it flourish even more. I have a choice of many different facilities that I could be going to but I choose retro fitness for my rehabilitation/Exercise needs.
Recently under new owner the gym look very clean especially the ladies room. My family and I were looking to cancel and sign up with LA fitness in the last few months. We have seen improvements especially customer service. We decided to stay and go to the gym more often. I do recommend a sign about phone usage. Be considerate to others please have the conversation outside of the building.
