Retro is one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to! The atmosphere is top notch and I always feel motivated to do my best. There’s a wide variety of lifters, which is really nice in my opinion. It’s good to have people from all walks of life lifting at the same time as you. A couple of really strong dudes have helped me with my form and have given me tips. I would maybe recommend bolting down the cable lat pulldown machine, as I once witnessed someone pull the while thing over into themselves and it caused injury.

What I like most about my Retro Fitness experience is the noticeable transformation under the new ownership and leadership. There’s a clear sense of direction and pride in the facility now. The updated equipment is a huge upgrade—everything feels modern, well-maintained, and thoughtfully selected to support a wide range of training styles. The new look of the gym really stands out as well. It’s cleaner, more organized, and has a more motivating atmosphere overall. You can tell that real effort has gone into creating a space where people actually want to train and improve. Most importantly, the leadership shows. The environment feels more positive, the standards are higher, and it’s evident that member experience is a priority. It’s made a big difference, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

It’s a great gym! Awesome upgrades with the new ownership. Friendly people, and a fun community. They have a sauna, a ton of classes (my favorite is Zumba), and with the membership that’s $39.99, I can bring a friend with me every time I come to workout. Definitely recommend :)
