Retro has pretty much everything I need to get a good workout, whether it's weight training or cardio conditioning. The staff is friendly, and the other members just go about their business with none of the drama you sometimes see in videos on social media. I'd like to see some of the glute machines in NA that the Wallington Retro has, but that's not a major issue at all. The gym is clean and I especially like the abundance of disinfecting wipes all over to use in wiping down equipment before and/or after use. I haven't taken classes or tanned or done anything extra, so I can't comment on those things.
Retro is close to my home; I can walk there. 99% of the time parking is not an issue when I go there. Most of my problems with the facility are due to the members not observing gym etiquette (at least as I was taught) by not taking weights off machines and putting the plates on the racks. Too many times the carabiners on machines having pulleys are missing. It seems to me members are taking them. Why? No excuse for plates left on the gym floor. Tying up a machine by sitting there and looking at a phone. Just a bunch of little things that make the Retro North Arlington experience less than 100%.
