The employees and owner are great! Delaney and Ryan are usually at the desk when I get there and they’re always friendly and helpful. The only problem I have with Retro is that they don’t answer their emails. And I’ve been trying to get them to fix the one monitor on one of the rowing machines that has a black mark on it and some of the buttons stick.
I love how affordable it is. Also, the layout is perfect. I like how I can see most of the gym from almost any perspective so I know what machines are available. The community there is not intimidating. I like the diversity.
Well managed business that enables the members to work on their fitness goals. Great classes and trainers and plenty of machines and weights to use. Establishment is kept clean. Information is kept up to date.
I have been to several Retro Fitness' around the tri-state area. The equipment is top of the line and they are always making improvements. When a machine breaks or is not working properly, they make a timely repair and keep the patrons in the know. Red-light, tanning, hydromassage, and now saunas have been added since I joined in 2020. Upgrades to not only the equipment but atmosphere are constantly being made to improve experience. With planet fitness and now city fitness moving into the territory, there is no other gym I would go to for the amount of amenities at a reasonable price point. Retro Fitness Spring Garden has everything any gym goer could want from Beginner to Competition-Level fitness.
Person at the desk was very helpful. I am glad she was there, the women who works mornings that wears glasses during the week, I avoid her always she is frumpy
