The word I think of is "nourishing." But it's also very challenging in a non competitive environment. Wonderful encouragement to look within for super powers. I HATED it but stuck with it because I'm not a quitter. Also I can afford it. :~}. Now I can't live without it. I wasn't a cyclist before Revo. A hernia forced me to stop dancing and do something less bouncy. Now I own an $1800 bike and just did the Bridge Ride. I killed it on the hills! Thank you Michael, Ashley, Lindsey, Lara and the rest of y'all!!
Revocycle is a warm and welcoming place that makes you want to come back for the feeling of "ahhh" and giant smile you walk out with. It's a good hard workout that comes from motivation and music not yelling and screaming.
The bikes were amazing! It felt like I was riding on the road. It was also helping having my power and cadence right next to me so I could monitor my cadence. Maybe it would have helped if the instructor walked around during class to access my numbers since the class was so small in size.
You are not like the other spin classes- I love how you took the fear away right away because I haven't been to a spin class since last year. I love your bikes and Michael is the best instructor I've ever met. I love that you don't have to get up and down on the bike.
This cycling class is unlike your regular spin class, in part due to the free wheel bikes used. This type of bike takes actual effort to pedal, forcing you to move your body 10x harder than a regular fixed wheel spin bike. It was a tough session to get through and I felt like I had accomplished a proper workout afterwards. My legs will definitely feel the effect tomorrow! I also enjoyed the calming and meditative aura of the class, which helped me to feel balanced and tranquil during my workout.
My experience of Revocycling was that it is a means of exercising that is quiet, simple, customizeable to my own pace, without compression of the knee joints, without shouting, loved the tunes to cycle to, and the people were energetic and enthusiastic -which is always contagious :)
