I liked the level of the teams we played this season (1st grade boys basketball) - much better than playing up last season. The refs and staff were helpful, patient and overall great. Appreciated the uniforms and end of season awards given to the kids. Liked the focus on good character and sportsmanship. Recommendation - would be really helpful if there were better practice venues & scheduling options. Our coach came early to the coach's meeting to secure us a good time and location and he was completely skipped over and ignored. We had to practice in a school gym with goals nowhere near the height the kids played with in games. That is in many ways a waste of time. There have to be adequate practice times AFTER traditional work hours and in facilities that encourage building of skills. Families won't sign up and pay fees if that doesn't happen.

I like the equipment and always in good condition. It’s a great atmosphere and friendly front desk person. Also, I am extremely happy they removed the toxic air freshener machine that was in the weights and bike area. I had to temporarily go to another Y location. Now I can comfortably workout at the Richardson Y. Thank you! 😀
