In addition to knowing the ins and outs of real estate, Rick was also extremely knowledgeable about how houses are constructed and what things to look for in a house that might indicate there are problems with it. He was also excellent at communicating these things to me as I looked at houses so that I felt confident I had the information I needed to make a decision about it. Finding the right house was a long process for me, and Rick was patient and willing to work at my pace. The entire process went smoothly because of Rick's professionalism and assistance throughout.

Rick worked with us several months prior to listing our home to help us understand the market and to recommend minor improvements we could make to our home to get “top dollar”. We made the improvements Rick suggested and days prior to listing our home Rick suggested that we actually INCREASE the list price based on his latest assessment of the market. We sold our home within two days for list price which set a record for homes in our subdivision. We would not have sold our home for so much without Rick’s insights and recommendations. There is always a sound reason for each and every one of his recommendations. He is very rational in his reasoning and in his moves. What he suggests makes sense. I can begin this review with the short statement that a better real estate agent in Ann Arbor there is none. My situation was unique in that it began out-of-state during the top of buying frenzy (rates below 3.5%). His knowledge of the Ann Arbor, and surrounding areas, proved invaluable in locating both the builder and homesite for my future home on a very aggressive timeline. Even though I was looking at 8-12mos new construction, he was a part of every step in the process. From design appointments, to pre-drywall meetings, to closing he made every meeting and offered subtle expertise that will benefit my home for its lifetime. Further, he had recommendations of insurance providers, and subsequent vendors, at the ready. I began this review stating Rick was the best among many, many, agents serving the Ann Arbor and surrounding areas. I stand by that. From his knowledge, to his expertise, to being a great person to work with in general, I consider myself lucky to have him as my agent. Thank you, Rick!

I was referred to Rick when I wanted to sell my home in Wayne County. Although Rick could have taken my business, he referred me to one of his colleagues because he doesn’t specialize in Wayne County markets, and his colleague does. I was impressed by his unselfishness and by his willingness to do whatever is best for the client. Later, when I was looking for a new home in Washtenaw County, Rick did a terrific job in giving me timely advice and in always being responsive to my questions and concerns. I would recommend Rick most highly for anyone buying or selling a home in the Ann Arbor/Washtenaw county area. You won’t find a better realtor.

I enjoyed working with a Rick. He’s very knowledgeable about the buying selling processes and is always lookout for what is best for his clients. He’s very patient because I got really discouraged through the whole process but he always calmed my nerves and kept me motivated to keep searching for my home. We finally found my home and he’s still with me until we finally move in. I would recommend Rick to anyone looking to sell or buy a house.
