The staff at Chuck and Don's are always friendly and helpful! I bathed by bug Great Pyrenees there recently and had a great experience all around. Would highly recommend this place not only for dog bathing but for a wide selection of pet foods and treats as well.
I visited the Rochester Chuck and Don's on Wednesday 4/15 at about 5:00. I had just adopted a rescue dog from Paws & Claws Animal Humane Society, and although I was very excited, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. I needed a collar that would prevent my dog from pulling (she dragged me to the door of C & D's!!), some treats and some food. A wonderful young woman helped me find a collar, then helped me fit it right there on the spot. She mentioned that as a new rescue my dog was eligible for a free dog wash, then helped me get her in the bath and get her all cleaned up and dry. She helped me find the appropriate food, some treats and then helped us get all checked out. Your Chuck and Don's employee, and I feel terrible that I didn't get her name, was absolutely terrific when I needed her help the most. I didn't even mention that my 5 year old grandson was with me, adding to the chaos of the situation! I will always be grateful to that young woman who was calm, helpful and very kind to us. Thank you young lady, and thank you Chuck and Don's! (I hope a real person reads this and lets her know how grateful I am :) .)
