I like the variety of kayaks and canoes you have. The ability to try out either on the pond is a bonus. The staff listened to what my husband and I were looking for in a canoe back in 2018 and I returned yesterday looking for a certain type of kayak for the river and ended up with amother Swift canoe. Our first canoe was custom made and luckily this time there was one in the store. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

Your staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful. I quickly found the one small item I was looking for on my own, but as I wandered looking at all the cool toys I definitely don't need, I was asked by two different employees if I needed help finding anything, which I greatly appreciated.

Dan and the rest of the staff at Rutabaga have always been very helpful. The service that they provide along with the opportunity to demo boats is priceless. If you're entertaining buying a new boat and you haven't talked to Rutabaga you're missing out.

Knowledgeable staff. Shannon was very helpful in taking the time to explain the installation of my roof rack. Another staff, while I was waiting in the store, spent time looking for a canoe safety course online. The products are unique and specific to Paddle sports. Plus, it’s locally owned!

John helped me buy a roof rack for the truck, walked me through the different kayaks, features and construction methods. Great info. The next day Ethan helped me with my final decision on the kayak, explained paddle differences, the different life jackets and final transport strapping. Excellent service, truly outstanding.
