They have a great selection of boats, boat accessories, and camping equipment. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything, although I did. It’s a great shop that has earned a loyal customer.

We were extremely satisfied with all the help everyone gave us. We were buying a kayak for our granddaughter and didn't have a clue what to get her. We were leaving on a trip in a week. They went out of their way to get us the carrier parts before we left on our trip.

The staff is incredibly knowledgable and friendly taking as much time as needed to answer questions. Overall, before I purchased my kayak, the staff likely spent 3-4 hours with me. When I picked the kayak up, they made sure it was secure to my vehicle before I left and taught me how to do so myself for future transport. They are local and stand by everything they do. I know if there is ever a concern, I can count on them to take care of that.

Great products. You had the rare Werner Kalliste small shaft paddle. Friendly and effective customer service, good discussion on shipping options. Unlike REI, my paddle was packaged well and arrived intact. You just have a cool vibe, including the Rutabaga tape on the box and enclosed sticker. A fun place to do business with. You’re also in the Midwest, not that far away from me (at 4 hours I could consider a road trip sometime!).

The camp oven I purchased is EXCELLENT! We used it the first time with my son & grandsons in the BWCA over father's day weekend. I had dry ingredients for biscuits and corn bread pre-mixed and only had to add the liquid ingredients. Popped the biscuits in the oven.. adjusted it to optimum reflection from the camp fire and they came out beautiful NOT burned! Cornbread was the same, excellent.
