The people at Rydjor bike are friendly and knowledgeable, took my sons bike in and got it back pretty quick for the work that needed to be done. Thought it was going to be expensive but got a bill for only a few bucks.
Thank you so much John for your input on the trails! I look forward to exploring more of them whenever I visit Austin! This is a great bike town. I'll see you again soon!
RYDJOR has always had top shelf people in their shop and Jon continues that tradition. Bicycling is meant to be fun and RYDJOR does their best to make sales and service fun as well.
Several things. The friendliness of staff goes a long way in building the relationship between customer and vendor, but knowledge in bikes wins the day. Staff isn’t wanting to sell customers the most expensive bike but instead the right bike for them; a bike that will provide decades of enjoyment. These are rare aspects for a company to have but are priceless in word of mouth advertising and repeat business.
I brought the bike down so Jon could take a look at what was going on with my kick stand. After seeing the problem he ordered a new kick stand and a short time later he called to say that it was in and I could bring the bike back so we could see if it would work. It would work and he had it installed and I was on my way in no time flat.
Was on a road trip from southern Arizona and left my repair gear there. So, when I experienced a flat after riding the Cuyuna MTB trails and wanting to ride with a life long friend from Austin (my hometown), I stopped at Rydjor. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and had my bike ready to go in no time. If I lived in Austin, Rydjor would most definitely be my go to bike shop!
