Barbara at the front desk was very helpful. Miss Emily and Miss Sage were great with the kids, gave them all a turn, then reported on their progress at the end of class.
We have found the instructors friendly, approachable, and responsive to our parental feedback. If I were to make one criticism it would be to have more personnel on the front desk. On a number of occasions we have found only one young woman available to book schedules, take payments, and answer questions. While today, and previously, the woman has done her best to attend to everyone in a timely way, she is only one person and it’s obvious Safety Swim needs additional people up front.
My daughter's swimming skills have significantly improved since moving her to San-T-Swim in Bellmore. The water is consistently warm and the instructors have been consistent.
I loved that Emily was patient with my 3 year old non-swimmer and started him off for the whole session in the water at the steps. By the end, he was happily laughing and eager for the next lesson.
We also were given "hw" to try in the bath. I was happy that the the person in charge came over to my husband and me to reassure us that he would be fine.
We've had a wonderful experience at the Bellmore location. Karra, Jordan, and Patrick have been exceptional. Since we started coming here, our kids have gained so much confidence in the water, and it's been amazing to watch them grow as they advance through the swim levels.
We highly recommend it!
My son’s instructor Patrick is extremely patient with him. He has ASD and Patrick works with him and continues to work on skills that may take longer than other students. We are extremely happy. Kara is usually at the front desk when we have lessons and she knows him by name and is always kind and welcoming.
My daughter learned to swim here . Her 1st birthday party was held at Safety Swim. At a young age of 5 months she started swim lessons here and her love for swimming was cultivated by safety swim she’s 11 and on the swim team now.
