SafeSplash Swim School is a clean, safe, and professional facility that we’ve been happy with. My 8-year-old has been in their Wave program (swim team prep) for a while, and this past summer they hosted their very first swim competition—it was such a fun and exciting experience for the kids! My 6-year-old is in the Intermediate 3 class, and after about a year and a half here, both of my children have become excellent swimmers.
The instructors are fantastic—patient, encouraging, and skilled—and my kids genuinely look forward to their lessons each week. I also really appreciate the convenience of their app, which makes it easy to pay and keep track of schedules.
I would definitely recommend SafeSplash to anyone looking for a high-quality swim school!
Most of the swim instructors we have come across have been great. My favorite is Adam. But I have also really liked Lindsay and most recently Peyton. Annabelle (?) was another one that really made my son feel comfortable. I have also enjoyed working with Rosie. She has gone above and beyond to give some of the newer instructors pointers about my son and his likes and preferences. He tends to get a little scared or cranky when he first gets in but the above instructors are so nurturing. Redwon has also been really great.
My daughter started out with lie confidence however now she had confidence and loves the swim school. My only concern is the transition from instructors. Mote than half the instructors are no longer there
Place is fairly new so it’s clean
Teachers are great!!!
I just wish they would have mats on the hallways on the lockers cuz it gets wet pretty easily y and fast; my kids fell during change of clothes because it was wet and slippery
Clean, organized, well run, easy to use site, teachers are kind and for the most part very good (have only had one or two that were just ok, and many that were phenomenal)
We have had a great experience with the Toddler Transition classes. Some weeks were better than others depending on the mood of the toddlers. It’s clear some teachers have a bit more experience with the little ones. I appreciated that they always had extra staff on hand to support if there were big emotions. My daughter made tons of progress in our few months and I look forward to her growth in level 1 when she’s a little older.
Everything was straight-forward and easy. The registration process, signing-up for a trial, getting started once we got to the school. The way that classes start and stop on time is well-organized. Class sizes are manageable for the instructor. Overall a great experience.
I first started my daughters at the owings-mills location. I loved the program but hated the location and the issues that arose. However the Ellicot city location amazes me more and more everyday!
Asia and Madison worked together to console my upset toddler and the other upset toddler in the class. They separated the two and by the end of the class, I had a very happy toddler who was loving her swim lesson! Both women are phenomenal and patient and very good with kids.
