This feedback is for teacher Anne S. She is a teacher for Beginner groups(1-3). My 6 year old daughter has been in her class for a few weeks at the Mountain view Safesplash center. Prior to joining her class my daughter has had some negative experiences at another school, and was a bit scared of the water. Teacher Anne worked with her to get rid of her water fears. She helped my daughter dive into the water and try to swim by herself within two weeks. Even on a day when she wasn't teaching(my daughter was with another teacher), Anne dipped her hand on the pool surface and asked my daughter to swim up to her hand. This helped my daughter become very confident about diving into the pool by herself. Teacher Anne is very patient with my daughter and other students in the class. No matter how the kids behave she is smiling all the time. Also she is able to keep even the "naughty ones" in line and ensure that no ones behavior disrupts the class for the other students. My daughter looks forward to Teacher Anne's class and was quite disappointed to have missed her class this week because of recurring facility issues at the Mountain View pool. The San Jose pool is very far for us to drive, and so we would be grateful if this issue is resolved as soon as possible.

We had a great experience with Erin: I had the time wrong in my calendar for my son's first group lesson, and she kindly took hjm for a solo lesson, during an open slot she had, so that was very helpful. We actually haven't been back bc of the swim school being cancelled due to an emergency, and then construction, and then our own scheduling conflicts, but we should be back this Saturday for a few more lessons in August.

The swimming instructors are good at their job and are very patient with the kids. Your kid will get the same instructorevery time, no sub, no new instructors. Managers are very approachable and they listen to you.
