Everyone was kind. The instructor gave directions calmly. Very laid back but clear expectations. No pressure feel. After my daughters first class, she was at ease. And I was too. :)
There was a strong concentration on correct stroke form. All of the other swim places I've taken my daughter have been focused on just if you move x number of yards while attempting said stroke.
We have always been impressed with SafeSplash Swim school, it's the reason we come back year after year! We signed up for lessons over the summer for my 7 year old and 12 year old. My 12 year old enjoys working on continuing her swim skills by working on harder skills including flip turns and the butterfly. My 7 year old has gained confidence in his basic skills because the teachers are patient and kind during lessons. He is aware that he is in control, he feels safe and he is treated with kindness when faced with new skills that seem scary to him. Every instructor we have had, including the occational sub, is knowledgeable in all the swim skills they are teaching. They are even willing to jump in and demonstrate proper technique. The class sizes are always small, providing plenty of time for each child to work on their skills without leaving too much down time. I feel like classes are well worth the money and that my children are developing life long skills at SafeSplash Swim School.
It was so much less chaotic than other places I have taken my kids for lessons like Goldfish and Aquatots. The instructor was wonderful and my kids loved it!
My boys always look forward to going to their swim class. Their teacher is great and adjusts instruction for each of my boys who are 5 and 2 years old. I'm so happy we chose safe splash. They have made such great progress. Thank you!
