Everything great! Except that the signs on the trail and on the road by Mission Park Pavillion said that there was a docking station, which there was not. My last leg of my trip I do not dock back in time because we lost time looking for this docking station. I will hopefully not be charged for going over the time limit. Thanks!
This was my first experience with BCycle and I LOVED it; I was able to get all around San Antonio and visit all four NHP. The last stop in a park was a bit hard to find; but the other stops very easy. My only comment would be longer than 1 hour as I had 2 min to find the last place to dock the bike and I got a little anxiety.
I'd really love to see more be cycle stations north downtown in the midtown area because the creeks that are being worked on are about to open and there's no way for the residence of Midtown to access the Greenway and enjoy the rest of the trail without having to find somewhere to park in an dense neighborhood like lavaca and king william.
It’s easy to take out a bike & re-dock it along the Mission Reach trail. The bikes are typically in very good repair and charged and ready to go. They’re great to ride up and down the hills with the electric assist for senior adults.
Super convenient when visiting in town! My host had an ebike, and i purchased a pass and it was actually easier to see the shops on the rental because i coould ditch it and find a new rack, no problem. Did about a 15 mile loop through historical sites as well, no problem! Bikes are used, but maintained well.
I appreciate:
the many stations you have along the Mission Reach.
The ease of seat adjustment and use.
The app showing the # of bikes available and open stalls for return.
I wish:
There was a way to check the battery level before taking the bike.
