I recently brought in my vintage 1987 Specialized Stump Jumper to see what it would take to restore it to its former glory. Geoff, the bike technician, was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through the repair options, sharing his expert opinion and helping me decide how far I wanted to go with the restoration. What could have taken days elsewhere, Geoff completed in under 24 hours—personally inspecting and refreshing every component on my bike. I took it out yesterday for a 20-mile ride on the Zim Smith Trail, and it rode like the day I bought it. Thank you, Trek—and especially Geoff—for bringing this classic back to life.
