My son has really been blossoming in his drumming abilities since starting his private lessons with Chris. He has also blossomed socially and confidence wise since starting Rock 101. We are really happy with his musical developments since starting with SOR-Ashburn.

The programs are fun and exciting for the students. It is amazing how fast they learn to play together in the camps. And the private lessons are great. Highly recommend.

The SOR program is immersive and appeals to kids' current musical tastes. The combination of private lessons with band practice is excellent. I love how when one show ends, the next show practice immediately begins. I also love how no one can hide in an ensemble song and how supportive the kids are of each other. This calm, supportive yet professional attitude starts with the teachers and rubs off on the kids.

As a family, we are extraordinarily happy that we found School Of Rock Ashburn for our daughter. The program at School Of Rock Ashburn is implemented, managed and taught by seasoned professionals who know how to lead and teach kids. Our daughter has participated in numerous extracurriculars (sports and music) over the years, and SOR Ashburn far exceeds our expectations and everything she’s previously participated in both in terms of the level of instruction and the positive environment. Travis the music director is exceptionally talented and highly skilled at leading, teaching and fostering a great environment for young musicians and so are his team of instructors. Jess also is a critical part of the team and is very skilled at managing and working with the kids. I’ve never seen a more talented and effective group of people dedicated to teaching kids. I think it’s rare to find a team that is so skilled at developing the talent of kids across the full spectrum and meeting each of them where they are musically to the point that they can deliver truly exceptional performances. Again, we are super impressed and extremely grateful for SOR Ashburn.

Stella is an amazing vocal teacher. Within the first month of me being taught by her, I can already notice improvements in my voice. She works with my learning speed and never feel like the lessons were too fast or too slow. I feel like she personalizes her lessons depending on the style of my voice, which helps me learn what my voice is like and what songs go best with my voice. However, she's not afraid to get me out of my comfort zone with I HIGHLY appreciate. I am a vocal amateur so I don't know even *how* to get out of my comfort zone or what even my comfort zone was. But Stella guides me through it and, even though I'm no singing prodigy, now I am more confident than ever with my voice.
