The kids being able to select a song they want to work on, and the instructors helping them to easily start learning the tune.

Trevor! He's willing to try new things, tweek stuff, scrap stuff entirely. Really tough job having to adjust to different students' and parents' goals/expectations but because he actively listens, I think he is really an outstanding teacher. My kid can be all over the place and Trevor plugs on. I've recommended him to a new family even though they have somewhat different goals and practice style than we do because I'm sure Trevor will be awesome. Yay Trevor!

I am the Grandmother of Ella [LAST NAME REMOVED], and she seems very happy with the school and the options that most fit her.

SOR has a very friendly open staff (administrative and teachers). The program is unique in that it blends the traditional lesson with collective performance. The kids are not only learning their instruments, but also learning to work together as a band and to display their skills in front of others.

Pro staff - really seem to want to teach students. Rehearsal directors & show bookings! Micheal seems to have genuine interest in the school growing with his pro staff teaching/musicians. Roxanne filled in for the adult rehearsal/director - i was impressed with her too. My first rehearsal or playing with any woman... Would like to see more women enrolled into adult band.. - ads more energy/song options to the guys, was my impression.. I don't know, but keep getting better, which seems unavoidable with the schools programs/knowledge/commitment & staff members.

The staff is knowledgeable, supportive and care about the students. There is a wide array of musical styles taught. The opportunity to perform in front of a crowd is a great learning experience.

My daughter had a great time at summer camp. She enjoyed playing with new musician and meeting new friends. The show at the end of the week was a real treat for me and it demonstrated the new skills she learned. She expressed interest in coming back next summer.

I liked that the class was small. I feel like this gave my child a lot of great individualized attention.
