The admin staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The musical coaches are completely dedicated to helping the students. Communication from SOR is always clear and prompt.

Our instructor has really instilled a love for the keyboard in my child. She loves coming to class and looks forward to practicing what she has learned. The music as School of Rock is creative and makes room for our child to express herself.

It’s so encouraging and supportive. You make it safe to take risks and create an awesome community ❤️

The teachers are excellent, and the opportunity to take individual lessons and be a part of a band is the best way to learn.

We always recommend SOR! It is our son's happy place. The only piece of feedback I'd like to give is that he would take even more lessons on different instruments if there was a discount for adding more lessons. It is prohibitively expensive once you're on performance track to add much more. Of course, I understand the time and instructors cost dictates the pricing. Thanks for all that you do!

What can I say? It is an amazing program. Not only do you learn to play your instrument or learn to use your voice but you also learn the components of a band. You learn how to work with other musicians. How the combination of the instruments unite to for one cohesive unit. I absolutely love it there.

I like how song assignments are matched to my skill level. I am amazed how the weekly band practices and individual lessons shape us into a creditable performance band. I am impressed with the skill levels of School of Rock staff.

The teachers are amazing. Very knowledgeable but most importantly are super positive and make the kids feel great about their abilities!!

It’s very supportive and nurturing yet pushes to the next level ❤️

Charlie has been playing guitar since he was 3 years old, but did not enjoy performing until he came to SoR at age 10. The shows really foster their love of music and give them a huge amount of confidence that truly comes through in their performances.

The overall approach is great to foster and grow an appreciation to music which excites not just the students but the parents too. It also provides a safe place to be yourself and grow with other kids from different backgrounds but with similar interests (separate from school).

I love being in a band. Not only did it help me with my singing but it also taught me how each part of a band influences the flow of the band. Like who sets the rhythm or who cues in the singer. Amazing program

For me it’s a chance to learn and play music I love in a group setting. It’s really fun

Bedford SoR continues to provide a healthy nurturing and educational environment. Students are supported to progress at a pace that is fun and beneficial!

Rock band is a lot of fun and the environment is really supportive. My lessons have been very helpful so far.

Th ability to play with other musicians.

Our daughter fell in love with music through the SoR model of playing with a band and geared towards a specific performance. She excels at bass and keyboards and looks forward to her coaching sessions and rehearsals. Thank you!

Meeting new people who love music, having time set aside each week for what I love, learning new skills and being challenged

The approach used by School of Rock legitimately fosters the desire in the students to play. They get inspired to learn and perform together. The vibe at School of Rock in Bedford is good (though it was even better prior to the fresh paint). My child cherishes the friendships made there and has reached out to others to join School of Rock. One has already started taking lessons. I took music lessons at a conventional music school and recitals were our only performance but they were all solos of classical pieces. I never had any input of which song or artist I wished to perform and though I usually did fine, I was never excited or pumped up for the performance. However, when I was in orchestra / band in middle school, I got to play Blues Brothers and Santana with the other orchestra / bandmates. That was fun and fun is why School of Rock does so well.
