All of the teachers show enthusiasm and passion for helping people learn and grow in their journey to being musicians and good human beings. The challenges are well paced and the community is supportive. As a parent sitting in the waiting room, I can see so many that feel at home in the space!

We love the flexibilty the staff provide us. My son adores his teacher and has learned so much.

Our teacher is very good, sends nice updates after every session. We are excited for our child to join a band soon!

We love everything about SOR Watertown. Talented and friendly instructors, excellent management and communication. Easy to reschedule a lesson and amazing shows!

My son has been really enjoying the lessons and band practices with the instructors. We are happy with his progress.

Staff is great and the private classes are really building confidence for my preteen.

So far, our kid is only taking lessons, but the atmosphere at School of Rock is very welcoming, and the teacher is friendly and kind.

The staff is excellent, the environment is welcoming, and the students seem to bond well each season. The School of Rock is just an all-around lovely part of my child’s life.

I like the adult band. I signed up for this beyond the bass lessons I take at the school of rock as i wanted to play out in a band setting and this provided that opportunity for me. I'm glad I did and going on my thrid season not only have I learned a different variety of songs of which ends with playing an end of season show at a local music venue in the Massachusetts area but to meet such great people who share a common goal which is to get better at their craft of playing music as there are different levels of each person from new to play to folks who have been playing for years. Now school of rock has started a mid-season show which I think is great as this provides a barometer of the songs one learns half way through, it also provides each student to be more accountable for learning their songs quicker and to be able to play in a music venue more than once which is not only a great feeling to play in front of people ot also provides the individual more confidence in their playing ability. Everyone is great from the other students, bamdmates and the staff if Watertown School of Rock is top notch. They take their jobs seriously and provide a safe and friendly environment for all ages. If you were thinking of joining one of their programs but was hesitate I will tell you take the plunge it's not only fun but the confidence and skills you will learn can be translated into your everyday function. Since joining school of rock I went from a newbie bass player to a person who can't wait for each lesson and band rehearsals but got the confidence to try out for other bands, some I didn't get but did find a band to play in beyond the school of rock band otherwise I wouldn't have made that decision to try.

Music is taught in a fun way by teaching the kids songs rather than only lessons . The band practice gives kids a lot of confidence as well as allows them to play in a group setting so they understand how their music works with others.

The community is great and so positive.

The combination Of lessons and bands

Capitalizing on individual creativity while helping artists to hone their skills.

So far so good. A few bumps early on but SOR Watertown staff have been responsive in making sure my kids' first experience performing with others is good.

I really love the programs, it is a time for me to just have fun and learn about music and play it. I also love the programs because they are so diverse every season. And there is always something everyone might like because the programs overall never stick to 1 specific genre.

It was great! My son enjoyed a lot. More than he expected. It would be great if parents have a program (Song titles) on the Friday performance. Overall it was very nice.

The School of Rock rocks with its fantastic approach to music! It's all about team spirit and letting every kid shine, both on their own and as part of a rockin' band. The teachers? They're cool, experienced musicians who support each kid find their groove. Kids get to jam in private lessons and then bring it all together in band practice. It's like forming a mini rock band where everyone counts on each other's tunes to make epic music. And the grand finale? They hit the stage in real gigs, showing off their hard work and killer teamwork. What is the vibe at these shows? Electric! It has been a truly magical experience thus far

The opportunity for children and teenagers to be in a band. This offers them experience of how it is to perform music in a real life setting. I think they are getting so much more than that. They make friends, they learn how to function in a team and the larger musical community. They learn responsibility and they truly enjoy playing music or singing.

Miss Felli is stellar. She responds to the pace of the children and still manages to provide a full class experience. My grandsons love it. All the staff are great.

Wonderful way to teach!
