I love that my five-year-old can take a class where they can play different instruments and sing, while having fun, making friends, and learning about music. The teachers are really good with kids and just nice people in general. My kid gets to see a lot of older kids that take music classes. It’s a welcoming environment - my transgender child feels no pressure to be anyone other than themself, which is absolutely necessary for any program I send them to.
The most important to me is that it has given my daughter a place to really express herself. It has built her confidence and finding a place like that for a kid who isn't into athletics is a huge deal.
I like the open communication. Information is always available and any and all issues are addressed.
My son has been attending SoR for almost two years and has learned so much! He truly enjoys the program and has learned 40-50 songs on the drums. He is now picking up the bass guitar. I highly recommend SoR!
Its interactive, fun and every instructor is invested in my success as a musician.
Also, the lessons are not boring and the fact that SOR combines 1 on 1 instruction with playing in a real band increased my learning 100% and Im over 60.
The one on one with the teachers and the performance programs are an amazing experience for the students. Raises their self esteem, they build friendships, and a great knowledge of music to take with them that may even mold their future in music.
Staff is awesome and Matt my guitar teacher is very patient and is a pleasure to learn from. Im 62 and never thought I would be playing guitar in frint of people.
