My guy Patrick has talent at playing and teaching. Great place to learn guitar

A great group of teachers and staff help make this place fun for the kids and the parents too.

The general manager Mason Fisher made me feel welcome as soon as I joined SOR Cherry Hill. I am an adult student. I take individual keyboard lessons with Patrick Crowling, the music director. The lessons are awesome - I work on building my skills every week. Patrick is a very patient instructor. He demonstrates technique on keys, he helps me listen for melodies and chord changes in songs (I call it ear training) and he helps me decipher timing and rhythms. One day I hope it will all come together for me!! Its a learning process. I am also taking lessons in the adult group/band. Our instructor Vince plays multiple instuments and he got mad skills. He challenges us to dive right in to the music. It is a challenge for me to keep up with the pace of the group, but it only makes me want to keep improving. Overall, I would highly recommend SOR Cherry Hill. So far it has been a great experience on the path to becoming a musician. I took traditional piano lessons for many years. I'm pretty good at note-reading and the basic mechanics of playing piano - but at SOR I am actually learning how music is made and how music is played.

I have 2 kids enrolled (one of whom has been there for 2 years now) and love everything about the Cherry Hill school, particularly the instructors.

The exposure our son is getting to various instruments in Rookies class has inspired him to pursue private lessons. He looks forward to coming to class every week. The instructors make it fun and serious at the same time, which is not easy for a young age group.

The variety and flexibility to include all skill levels. The opportunity for students to learn and participate in shows.

My son loves being part of the School of Rock family

Being part of an actual band

My 7 year old absolutely loves to go to his practice sessions, is practicing at home now. And howls with excitement when they perform live at events even if just as the opener. Great instructors and very easy going management with not obligation to keep paying for new lessons.

My son loves it! The instructors are great and so nice. He loves that they are learning "fun stuff" instead of what he learns in middle school guitar lessons. The environment is nice overall.

Positive atmosphere, excellent teachers who have great energy & build confidence in their students

You can express yourself a lot. Love the experience playing in a band. Also love the one on one lessons.

Fun and casual atmosphere. My son’s drum instructor, Vince, was/is awesome and he really helps my son keep his enthusiasm while improving his skills.

My daughter enjoyed her lesson each week and the teacher worked well with her.

Everyone is very kind and patient, especially with the kids.

The social interaction for the kids learning to play in a band. It’s important for them to be able to learn from each other as well as the instructors.

I love that our son is learning through performance. It’s a very motivational way to learn and he has fun doing it. The community is safe and he has found a group of friends who understand him and share his interests... something he has struggled for in other places.

From the instruction to the support staff makes the School of Rock an awesome musical learning experience. The only thing I regret is waiting so long. You guys rock!

The private vocal lessons and the rookies classes are awesome!

I like that the teachers are really laid back and allow the kids to learn music they’re interested in at the same time as music for the groups.
