The teachers are very kind and engaging with the children. They are very knowledgeable since I can see my kids improving very quickly. My kids have guitar classes with Juan and Drum classes with Haven in Colorado Springs, CO. Both are wonderful.

Varied choice for music types, instruments, and instructors

A fun way to learn music plus the experience of playing with a band live!

My kids love going, and they learn so much so quickly. Get want to practice at home because what they are learning is so fun!!

I like that I was brand new to guitar, and within 4 months I was playing in front of people. Semi-confidently ;)

Great teachers. The students seem to really enjoy learning to play actual songs they hear on the radio.

I am very satisfied with the lessons and the bands available to the kids. My child came very skittish about playing in front of someone and now is playing in a band and today is the performance of the band. Never did I think my child would be doing this, so a big thank you to school of rock. THANK YOU

It works, and it works quickly before the kids lose interest.

It’s a great activity for my kiddo who isn’t into sports! He is enjoying his lessons!

I liked how patient everyone was with developing my son’s skills.

I really like performing at my favorite venues and also really like the type of bands there are everyone is so nice it’s such a welcoming environment and helps feed the dreams for any aspiring musician or anyone who has a passion for music

Everyone is very nice, very helpful, great feedback after sessions.

The one on one attention from very skilled musicians is fantastic. The group sessions are really helpful for learning to play in harmony with other instruments and the performance aspect builds strong confidence. It’s a great program from top to bottom.

Our son says the band experience is the best part of learning guitar with School of Rock. He likes it so much he is already signed up for a summer camp that's supposed to be a week of it.

Schedule, instructors and facilities.

SOR is a place where learning goes hand in hand with fun! I think is the ideal place for kids to get introduced into music.

Technical skills

The music teachers have greatly improved both of my sons' skills. Everyone is friendly and good at what they do. The band experience, the professional concert, t-shirts, poster, etc. were/are really well done. The fact that the school teaches songs, working towards a showcase even without being involved in the band really resonates with kids instead of learning to read music first, which previously made my kids less interested in playing instruments when we were going through a different music school. Honestly, the only issue I've had came from a corporate direction to remove the camera feeds from the monitor where the parents can watch. This makes me far less comfortable, knowing what was going on in the rooms gave me peace of mind that has now been removed. I can't comprehend how this is being done with the children's safety in mind, it has the exactly opposite effect in my mind. If that goes back to the previous way of doing things my score would be a hard 10. My entire family loves the school otherwise.

My 8-year-old daughter is thriving in the program. The song-first approach, the one-to-one lessons, and the group sessions seem to reinforce a fun and productive way to learn music that inspires her to practice and stick with it.

I like the structure and pace of the classes. My grandson's instructors always have a very positive attitude, and seem to enjoy their role as a mentor/teacher. My grandson loves going to his classes, and that is what matters the most to me!
