Instructors teach on a very individual basis. Emphasis placed on listening/hearing more than reading music. Always a positive experience with great instructor guidance and feedback from every lesson and group experience. I have recommended SOR to many friends!
They make it easy. As an adult, learning how to play an instrument the first time, they listen and look for ways to fit my learning curve specifically.
Back at U guys. Our progress is highly noted however I just feel the need to be brutally spot-on to say that the progress My Liea has made at the School of Rock Edmond Ok has been a solid rock from the very first week. Eye opening improvement learning the Guitar fell over me like a load of Rock. You may never see my guitar skills taught to me in a open public setting however I can truly say that the School of Rock has got me Rocking.
My daughter looks forward to her lessons every week, and her skills are constantly improving/evolving. Her instructors have ALL been amazing, and group lessons have been very rewarding for her.
I think you get the balance between having fun and learning really well. Both my kids really enjoy their lessons and I'm surprised they haven't wanted to quit yet. I think the teachers do a good job staying positive and encouraging, even if progress is slow sometimes.
School of Rock promotes individual creativity and the love of music, in general. The program provides opportunities to perform with a group of other students in a performance facility, enhancing their showmanship skills. The individual growth and musical experience is phenomenal! I wholeheartedly recommend School of Rock as a functional music experience. Bravo!
I was afraid this experience was going to be expensive, but it is actually a great value. I love that my daughters teacher sends notes after each lesson.
All the staff is so kind and my teacher James is the coolest dude. He knows how to explain things in a way that makes sense. I didn’t think I’d already be as far along as I am but James got me there. I’ve already been letting people know where I go for lessons and bragging about how cool the place is.
