I love that there are live performances and a wide range of music styles, but I would recommend more communication from the instructors/teachers student's parents to give them an idea of their child's progress. Even occasional notes updates would be nice. Additionally, having groups that are a a little more suited for those on the young side to be paired with peers closer in age would be awesome. The younger ones can get intimidated by their more mature bandmates. TIA~!
Of course I am thrilled that my son is learning so much about playing and performing but it is much more than that. Frankie loves being around the kids and the staff here, and the positive atmosphere. He has also gained self confidence here. He has even gotten with some fellow students to try to create their own band! We love SOR Fishers so much that we drive 45 min one way each week to get here!
SOR has really brought our daughter out of her shell. She has always been a shy, reserved girl. Seeing her up on stage rocking out amazed us! If your child or yourself has a passion for music, I highly recommend School of Rock.
We love School of Rock. Our children happily attend classes and communicate with mentors and children. Thank you for helping to develop our children in different directions of life.
Love that SOR lets the kids really explore many different instruments including many they never thought they had interest in before trying them. I love that there is a sense of community and inclusion among the kids. It really helps build their confidence and friendships.

The performance group, songs, and lessons are all so fun! I love playing the songs and learning them.

We are impressed with his playing skill and the ease he picks up new songs. Confidence on the keys came quickly but it's taken a while on the mic, but he's finally developing his voice and confidence there too for the last concert and especially this new season's practicing. He's very excited about this season's song selection and thinks it will be his best concert yet.
His interest in music has grown since starting SOR and he's showing interest in other instruments as a result. He plays violin at school, which he loves, has again picked up the ukulele he once briefly tried years ago, and wants me to show him how to play my guitar too (gotta replace that broken string first!).
He's also gained an appreciation for great music over the decades, instead of only liking current super-pop tunes, which makes listening to music in the car with him more fun! :-)
Lydia loves the experience and the stage time. She especially likes Corey and her one on one lessons. The only thing she doesn’t like is the 3 hour band practices weekly. I know the band practice is necessary but 3 hours seems very long on school nights.
My daughter absolutely loves School of Rock Fishers. She started in the Rookies class and has since advanced to Rock 101. I have been very pleased with her progress on the guitar and her growing confidence as a musician. The instructors and office staff have provided a safe, fun, and educational environment that my daughter enjoys and is thriving in! Thank you SOR Fishers for all that you do!
The teachers are great. My kids are always learning new stuff and enjoy what they are learning. The staff is amazing too. They are always trying to work with the families schedule.
