I love that as a student, you get to learn how to play in a band with other musicians and learn how to read sheet music. My only critique is that the awesome one-on-one sessions are too short.

My daughter has been going to School of Rock for over a year now, and the Rookies program has ignited a real love of playing music in her (and bonus: it's also expanded her musical tastes). The staff are so engaged and friendly - special shout outs to Ms. Melissa, Mr. Ted, and Mr. Daniel - and really know how to work with kids of all ages. We'll keep being a School of Rock family for a long time!

How easy the staff and teachers make it

We see that school has a positive effect on our mood, behavior and so on...children need to have a favorite activity or hobby where thay will meet many friends with the seam interest. It is important for all ages but specially for the adolescence. All teachers in school are kind, friendly and attentive to children. Thank you so much everyone who makes our kids happy.

The comradery of playing music with other musicians.

We love School of Rock's approach to music lessons. The instructors are all very talented musicians and are patient with my kids. They are supportive while providing necessary constructive criticism. My children love going to lessons and are always excited to show me the new techniques and songs they have learned. The performance aspect is also helping with their self esteem.

Rookies 101 In fort Lauderdale on Thursdays at 4pm has the best teachers. Our private lessons with Mr George are always great!
