I like pretty much everything about the programs. My daughter has been a part of School of Rock in Frisco for nearly 8 years (almost since its inception). She has absolutely loved it and has learned so much and gained so much confidence and self esteem. School of Rock has been a terrific outlet for my daughter.
I love how involved they get and really try to get to know the kids. SOR has helped both of my children academically and socially! It was a great decision for us and we love SOR!!!
Thanks for all you do!!
The School of Rock program has been awesome for my daughter. She loves playing piano, but this experience has brought her much more. She was classically trained for 5 years, and this has made her more excited about learning. It changed her thinking about piano and made it fun! As much as I didn't think she was shy before this, I realized that it brought her out of her comfort zone, as performing has definitely been a different experience. Being able to get together with a group of performers to play together with different instruments has been incredible and has brought her a sense of accomplishment, as she's able to get a feel for the music and see how they all work together. Thank you School of Rock for all you do! My daughter loves it!
My son is six and in the Rookies program, and he always raves about his time with his instructor when we leave. He lights up when he talks about what he is learning, and reassures me that making mistakes are okay. I love that he is being taught that making mistakes, or not being perfect, is part of the learning process. Nowadays kids are pushed to excel in sports, academics, or music at an unrealistic rate. Youth is about finding what you are passionate about and growing. I am so happy that School of Rock has helped my son find his passion. They also have very kind instructors who have great taste in music. It's always exciting to talk about songs that my son is learning in lessons. I absolutely love that School of Rock has this program for little ones! It's a great intro to a world of possibilities!
School of Rock has exceeded all my expectations. I am absolutely impressed by how quickly students learn and gain confidence in their instrument and performing. The Rock 101 program takes students from lessons to band rehearsals in the same week. Students work collaboratively and learn the value of teamwork. The students get to perform in front of live audiences and that's what really sets this school apart from the rest. I enjoy watching the kids take risks and show off their skills at the end of Season shows Or showcases. The band teachers and instructors are patient and knowledgeable. They understand kids by playing their strengths while Working on their weaknesses. I've watched my daughter blossom in just a few short months. She's starting her second season and really looks forward to going to her SOR band practices and lessons. She loves it there!! I highly recommend School of Rock Frisco to anyone who wishes to watch their child learn, blossom and grow in the true meaning of music education, teamwork, and the magic of Rock.
I love everything about the School of Rock. Alex, the new GM, is fantastic! Before he arrived, I had no idea who the GM was, no one ever really talked to me or helped with things (from a management standpoint). He is so nice and welcoming. He has made it a point to get to know all the parents and is visible when we are dropping off. Great change! I also love the teachers. My son, Grady, has worked with Saxon the most (who we LOVE), but now also Stevie (who Grady really likes so far). He loved his previous band he was in with Zach and Collin. They were so great! I love watching my son learn to play, but more than anything... I love watching him LOVE what he is doing! He loves to sings Rock songs and loves playing them too. He has only done it for 7 months now, but he is hooked. it is so fun to see his confidance grow each time he gets up on stage to preform. It is building his confidence and self esteem so much. I am so thankful to all of the great teachers there who have made a difference for my son. Thank you! Christen Garb
