You guys offer the most amazing opportunity for both kids and adults to not only learn an instrument or vocals, but the experience of making music with other people, which is priceless. Everyone on your staff, from Rae and Amy Jo at the front counter to your teachers, both Jameses and Etti and all of the other teachers, to your show directors, Scott, Joe, Bridger, and all the kid show directors are so talented and dedicated, and work their behinds off to make both the kids and adult programs the best they can be. They are AMAZING and deserve all the props in the world. It’s been an awesome & priceless adventure for both myself and my son, so I wanted to thank you so much for that!! I SO look forward to getting together and jamming with everyone every week and appreciate everything and everyone who puts their all into making that possible! Just a couple of suggestions that will undoubtedly help the program and also help retain students: 1. The fee you charge show attendees, especially in the adult program is WAY too high. It prevents people from attending the shows and thereby reduces energy and support for performers, and also reduces your potential for recruiting new students. There are several band members who never invite anyone because of this. I started paying for a lot of my guests, because honestly I hate to ask people to spend $60 for a family of four just to support me in something I’m doing for fun. People have also left School of Rock over this.. If you would consider eliminating the fee, or reducing it to $5 like you have for the kid program, no doubt it would pay off for the school in the long run. 2. The equipment needs to be in better repair. When we are lacking feedback monitors & other basic equipment, or when microphones are broken, etc., it makes things frustrating for a lot of people. It is also damaging for vocalists, who have to strain to be heard over guitarists who crank the amps because they can’t hear themselves over drums that are too loud. I, and I know a lot of others, would be happy to even pay a higher monthly fee, with a portion of it dedicated solely to maintaining and upgrading equipment. Something to consider.. Thanks again & all the best!

It starts with the people and the ability of the staff - musically, interpersonally, organizationally. Our kid has fun at SoR and has built a community, or rather plugged into one Sor created with great kids and great adults. There is teamwork and accountability and belonging.

Kids need to see results faster then adults and this program give them exactly that. By the end of one week my kid played in a band on stage. I do recommend 1) not such long lunch breaks, 1hr+ was too long. My kid wanted to play music not watch movies. Not all kids are this way, but for those who want more music then have the instructor available to do more with them. 2) the one instructor 'over slept' and was 30min+ late. Not a good example to set for the kids and I am not sure they received all the teaching they should/could have as a result. 3) provide more follow up for those who this is their first time with School of Rock. We are interested in the Performance Program possibly but there wasn't anything that followed.

My daughter absolutely loved the summer camp and was excited with all she learned, and as a parent loved the performance the kids did at the end. It was great to see what they had learned put to action in a mini concert!

The instructors are Competent and nice.

My son had the best time ever

They really know how to pull a kid out of their shell!

We like the variety of lessons offered, the different styles of music camps and the top notch instruction.

The school of rock managers and administrators listen to their customers, and try to ensure an optimal experience as much as possible. Absolutely would recommend the school, as long as the experience continues to be in line with the cost of it. Special shout out to Scott Conti who is one the best humans I’ve ever met.

The teachers are great and my daughter likes playing music she enjoys

My kids always look forward to their lessons, especially my daughter in Rock 101. The instructors are great and they truly have helped my kids improve in not just playing but understanding music.

The instructors are fantastic, and the Rae at the front desk is so friendly and helpful!

Knowledgeable instructors that my kid can relate to. Supportive community. Well organized.

Love the instructors. They have taught me a ton!

I love that the students get real performance experience

Instruction is excellent - Scott Conti Focus on getting you up to speed. People are nice

As a very busy professional and single father, I don’t have the mental bandwidth to run my own band, coordinate schedules, book shows, lug gear around, etc. School of Rock’s adult program is the perfect level of engagement with music for me at this point in my life. It keeps me playing, and I love the process of watching the songs come together over time. It’s a great experience and I’m grateful it exists.

School of Rock is a sweet, fun community of smart, inclusive, highly skilled instructors and students. It’s amazing to me, the environment they have created and it turns out that kids really thrive in that environment. Lots of the kids who attend become musicians - every kid we have gotten to know through our three years has opened up and benefited from the opportunities, atmosphere, influence of the more experienced students and the community formed by the teachers, staff, students and parents.

Great friendly atmosphere. Our instructor Dylan i has been excellent with our child since the very first demo class.

My 10 year-old really looks forward to seeing his teacher Paul for drum lessons each week. The office staff are super nice too. Highly recommend!
