I like how your style of teaching is more results based, although it is important to understand theory and basics, the students seem to learn this as they learn songs and things of interest to them.

My son really enjoys going and playing with his bandmates. It’s a collaborative culture (rather than competitive like his sports teams) which is a great experience for him!

I have said this for a long time. Both of my children have been part of the SOR family for years. My son specifically since he was in 5th grade he is now in 10th has had such a positive experience. He has grown so much as a musician and person. SOR brings him joy, friendship and a place to belong all while learning how to be an accomplished performer. I tell everyone I know or run into if your child likes music start by enrolling him/her into SOR. You won’t be sorry. Love everything about SOR teacher, staff and the musicianship.

My son and daughter have both been students of SOR. Currently my son takes guitar and bass lessons including two performance sessions. He has learned and grown so much as a musician and person. This year he made the House Band which seems to be the goal of many students and the experience for him has been invaluable. He went away this summer on tour and had the most amazing time. It is hard to trust people with you child but we knew that Monica and Dylan would keep him safe along with having plenty of fun. I recommend to anyone who loves music to start with SOR! They have many programs to offer your child!

Instructors are professional, knowledgeable and patient even with an old dog like me. I feel supported. Management also listen and makes adjustments to equipment when possible. Finally, the front door staff is welcoming and kind. School of rock. … ROCKS!

my son loves his classes and loves his instructor. we love that fact that the classes allow for any instrument during his session and not restricted to one instrument only so that he can see what interests him more.

Evan loves james for his drum teacher and I was so impressed when james offered to help evan at his talent show (his first time performing). I like when teachers are connected and James seems like he will go above and beyond!

My family has been part of SOR for many years now. My son loves playing his music with his peers. He has learned so much from his teachers. It is wonder to see what joy SOR had given him. I spread the word whenever I can about SOR and the various programs they offer!
