Majority of the teachers & kids have been great. Very welcoming experience in groups and one-on-one lessons. I only think a certain teacher in one of the groups should lighten up on the students. He may have a vision and want that to convey but this isn't about that. Its making sure the kids have somewhere to go where they can have fun and make friends. I have heard that he can come down on the kids in front of the group and make them feel bad. I'm paying through the nose for this and not paying for a 20-something yr old can express his vision. The kids have been embarrassed to say anything also.

I love every aspect about SoR! My daughter has grown so much from everything she has learned at this school. Her confidence on and off stage has grown tremendously. Her skills on guitar and singing continue to grow also. The staff is always helpful and supportive and absolutely friendly.

Joey Vargas is my instructor both for individual lessons and adult performance group. Joey is a great teacher who tailors the lessons to the needs of the student. He told me during our lessons on guitar theory that I would have a lightbulb moment and he kept teaching until I discovered that moment on my own. I remember that moment much better having found it versus having been told. Playing in the adult performance group gives me that ultimate goal of playing rock n roll on stage in front of an audience. School of Rock is great. I encourage every adult who has always wanted to play an instrument to let SoR help you achieve that dream.

Everyone I’ve interacted with have been so friendly and welcoming to my son with special needs. They understand his deficit and have been so kind in working with him and allowing him to “do his thing” along with instructing him in ways that he can learn.

We have been super happy with the communication. Anytime I need to let you know my son cannot make a lesson I get a response right away. Our son is loving taking lessons from Isabella and is loving learning to play the guitar.
