The chance for musically gifted kids to come together as a community to learn and grow.

It's a great place for children and young adults to hang out, play some tunes, learn music and stage presence, be with friends, make new friends and grow as people. We tried the once a week 30 minute lesson at a local music store. Our son learned some basics, some scales and Mary Had A Little Lamb, but he was getting bored and we could tell he was losing interest. At SOR he is always learning, always having fun and has no desire to stop. He has been a student for almost 3 years.

I like that all the students are able to participate in a program that encourages growth while supporting all students equally . The students really supported each other . The concerts are very special . David developed self confindence, communication skills and friendships with a great group of kids.

I love the instructors and their ability to interact with the kids on the kids level. Although not asked for, I want to offer a bit of advise: Recently I have seen more younger kids moved up to the performance groups, which to me seems to be premature. Having too many younger kids in the performance groups negatively impacts the opportunities for the older/more skilled kids to benefit in the performance groups. How about implementing a Rock 102 as well as Rock 101 for the younger kids that are progressing but not yet ready for the performance group? Also, I would like to see the House Band started again soon. The is also provides extra opportunities for the more skilled kids to benefit from more instruction and performance time. I have two kids in SOR -- one is very skilled and the other is a novice, so I understand the struggle. I truely love SOR and what it has brought to my children's lives!

Everything. The supportive atmosphere, LOVE Mason, Kayleigh and Evan, the flexibility with scheduling changes, and the impressive way that Owen has learned to pay well and have confidence so quickly. I tell all my friends with kids what a great program it is.

All the kids are there for the same reason, to have fun, make friends and rock.

My son has greatly improved his guitar playing skills. The Rock 101 program is very unique--each child has the opportunity to perfect their skills and then apply them in a band setting.

That kids get to be there selves and rock out. I would like it if they would encourage my daughter to do more like some leads if given some encouragement she can do it. I feel she's stuck in a comfort zone. She is shy and needs extra encouragement .

I love that the instructors encourage my child to reach his full potential! They challenge him so that he can continue to grow and get better! I love that about School of Rock!

I like how friendly staff members are. I like how the program is designed, especially with the students performing at actual venues with real audiences.
