Miles is an amazing intuitive teacher. Anyone can learn how to play with Miles as their teacher. If I ask about a specific song I like, he will stop everything and teach it to me. He is so great! I can't say enough great things about him.

The environment is so much like a family and working in the lessons or in the actual show groups you work with the most understanding people who just want to support and help you In the one-on-one lessons they will find ways to work with your skill level and it's just a very lovely place to be.

The welcoming staff and teachers made us feel at home during those first weeks of being new. No snobbery, all friendly and easy to talk to. Jud has been a wonderful drum teacher to our daughter. The pace of progression, bringing her into a band, has been amazing. The students get to see rock music, in all its genres from the blues to punk. They are educated not only in their chosen instrument, but in seeing the history of music. Attending the fall/winter showcases this year was one of the best experiences! The venues these bands get to play in are impressive. We are so thankful a friend recommended SOR to us. It's a gift to see our girl grow in skill and confidence.

School of Rock is very inclusive. My child has thrived in this program for the past six years. This is the one place he feels that he can be himself. He's learned to work through challenges, try new things and work with others...all through a wonderful support system. I would recommend School of Rock for any kid.

I think it’s great my kiddo has a place outside of school to make friends and interact with adults with a common interest. Everyone knows her name and she has a chance to both be challenged and to feel strong and competent.
