We attended The Rookies Summer Camp. Bryan and his staff were very professional and he gave us daily updates about what the kids were doing. They did various musical activities each day and my son came home so excited about learning about music! Very impressed by the program and I look forward to signing my son up for more classes and camps!

There isn’t anything I don’t like about School of Rock Midlothian! My son has gained confidence, friends and knowledge. Everyone I have worked with have been kind and knowledgeable about what they are teaching. I would highly recommend!

The approach of using songs to teach music vs starting with scales and theories keeps my daughter interested and involved. She has a blast with the group lessons! She says that it's her favorite part of the week.

My son's teacher is fantastic. Building on the skills he already has and encouraging him to step out of his comfort zone for things he is not familiar with now. I cannot say enough good things about SOR Midlothian for what they have done for my son's abilities and confidence.

I see the positive energy that all students have both going to class and coming out. The comments from the parents is consistently great. For us few adult students, the instructors are flexible when discussing approaches/options to learning. I've not experienced any negative comments or behaviours.

The process of joining the school was easy and welcoming. Staff is very responsive and accommodating, my instructor is knowledgeable and understanding, he is working with me at my pace but also knows when to give me a little push in the right direction. I enjoy my weekly class and always leave the school feeling uplifted and accomplished. Looking forward to my next lesson!

The kids have a lot of fun. The programs are exciting and keeps the kids interested. Instructors do a great job working with the kids.

Love that you allow kids to perform. Wish you had a lesson only option , w opportunity to keep performing when needed. Always think it’s important to have them perform for charity events. Teaches them charity and opportunity to perform.

School of Rock Midlothian has helped my 11 year old son find something that he loves and thrives in. He has been attending since the school opened in Jan 2022 having one 45 minute private lesson and one 2 hour band practice each week. He is always excited to go pushing me to get out the door so he can be early. He practices daily. This is the only place I know of that focuses so much on performance. My son attended summer camp and got a fabulous music theory education. The staff is always very professional and accommodating and supportive of our family needs. The school is clean and safe. I would strongly recommend Midlothian School of Rock to any family with a student who wants to try music.

Everyone is always so nice and inviting. I feel like everyone really cares about my child’s success as a vocalist and also as a person. School of Rock really cares and as a parent I feel that. Thank you for all you do!
