Love love love how personable everyone is there. Playing in a band, especially a kids band, takes a special kind of team work. The effort and patience, along with a fun and creative environment is what sets this establishment apart for the masses. Best money I’ve ever spent on our boys! Couldn’t of asked for better instructors and will ALWAYS recommend this group to anyone. Thank you Don and the SOR family for being top notch and teaching our boys how to ROCK, love you guys!

Love the combination of 1-on-1 teaching and the practice with a band. All of the teachers are great! Owner is very kind and accommodating. A great group of people!

Classes are well organized. Having the notes from the teachers are helpful to stay on top of what to practice. The group band is a great way to have exposure to various instruments. The outside of class activities are a great way to keep the community of SOR engaged.

The drum teacher, Jake, is a great teacher. He really meets the student where they are skill wise while also encouraging them to go beyond their comfort zone to see where it takes them.

Fun, great teachers and very accommodating. We looked at other schools/teachers for our son to learn guitar and this is by far the best, the performance shows just put you in a different league, gives the kids to show what they have learned in a live environment

I think School of Rockland is a very good place for kids to learn to play their favorite instrument, and have excellent teachers. I like how well organized everything is, and also that the teachers are great at teaching kids. They love music, and are very skilled, but most of all, the teachers are kind and patient, but also dedicated. We had the chance to try out the School of Rock at a different place, and that place was not as good. We are very happy we found this music school.

Lots of fun. Great coaches, teachers, and staff. Our son loves going and comes out from band practice glowing.

Don was willing to work with us to give my son one on one lessons for the saxophone. He has a great instructor and is learning a lot from Nick. He’s really enjoying it and we are thrilled.
