Everything. I like the instruction, the inclusive culture, the diversity of music genres in shows, and how the program is run. School of rock not only helps kids build a love of music, it helps build courage, character and leaderships skills that will last a lifetime.

The instructors are excited to engage with their students and support their development in a way that's fun, positive, and challenging. Their passion for their craft, and for growing the next generation of musicians, translates to their students. My son is just 10, and I'm amazed at the drummer he has already become at this school over the past 2 years. Playing in the performance program, in addition to his weekly lesson, has exposed him to many different genres of music, and musicians of all ages and skill levels, which are helping make him a more well-rounded musician and performer. Also, as a younger student, he looks up to and learns from the older students he plays with in the program. So looking forward to seeing (and hearing!) him continue his musical journey here. It's been awesome so far!

My son was going for guitar lessons for 4 years with private teacher and started to lose interest. Instead of having him stop playing we tried School of Rock and my son fell in love with guitar again. He is learning a new song every week and we couldn't be more thrilled with his progress.

How can I choose 11? : ) What is not to love about School of Rock?! It is like we have found our tribe. Our music family. We are so lucky to be in SoR's orbit. Don't tell the kids, but I have found friends here too. Amazing. And amazing that we all hang out, kids and adults. Truly a blessing!

School of Rock has been amazing for our son. The instruction is top notch and the ”learning by doing” approach works well for him. In addition to learning how to play several instruments well, he is learning other skills that will help him in life generally. These include the value of teamwork, having the confidence to perform on stage, and the importance of being inclusive, among others. I honestly can’t think of a single way to make his experience at School of Rock better. Thank you!

Everything! My daughter gets the technical training she needs but also the experience performing and working together with her band mates. She aspires to have a career in music and this is giving her a good foundation and also a taste of what it will be like before she makes a lifelong commitment.

You learn by playing in a less academic environment. But if you want academic stuff you can also get it depending on the teacher
