We have only done private lessons and my son will start Rock 101 after baseball season, but he has been loving it. The instructor is gentle and gives him material he is interested in.
My son really enjoys school of rock. He has been taking drum lessons for years, but has never had an opportunity to play with others. We are still new to the program and excited to finally see him play songs with other musicians.
The level of learning that my son is getting is beyond!
Just before we started at School of Rock he had been taking lessons for about 3 years and he told me that he felt he had "outgrown his instructor" so I started look for alternatives. We have friends that have been at S of R for awhile and just love it! So, we decided to give it a shot, and am I glad we did! He is really honing his skills and learning to play in a band! My son is very excited to go every week and the friends he's making is priceless!
Learning to play music in a group that my daughter enjoys has been amazing for her! She has more confidence. The individual lesson is really what keeps her going through the school week. She loves her instructor, Jenny. Thanks so much for being there!
My daughter is in her ninth year and The School of Rock remains her 'happy place.' I love knowing that she is safe, cared for, and meaningfully engaged. We love you, SoR!
School of Rock has been instrumental in giving our boys their start in music education. Most importantly they love and look forward to lessons and shows that expand their music horizons. Both boys have been playing an instrument for several years and are now looking to take lessons in additional instruments. I don’t think you can put a value on teaching a love of music. School of Rock is priceless.
I like how my daughter wants to go back every time! She loves the group classes and is always ready for her private lesson too. I can’t wait to see her perform.
