I was amazed by the level of drumming techniques my son learned in such a short period of time. He really likes the 1 on 1 lessons. Everyone has been great and the actual concert was amazing!! I was so impressed how well the kids played. Kudos to all the instructors!

They allow kids of all ages to essentially express themselves with musical instrument of their choice, showing them how to properly use them, practice with them, and eventually perform with them in front of different groups of people which is an awesome thing to offer!

I love how the program empowers my daughters to express themselves through music, specifically rock music, which we all listen to and love. The teachers and program directors are all really great and have really helped develop my kids' musicianship.

School of rock is a great fit for our son! They are attentive, tailored, and kind. I also find the scheduling very simple with their website.

I like that the School of Rock encourages individual expression, builds social confidence in small groups and in front of large audiences, creates a fun experience based on experimentation (vs. too much focus on sheet music like other music instruction approaches). SoR also picks great songs for the kids to learn!

The TEAM.... The PROGRAM... The team in San Jose is extraordinary! Attentive, skilled and fun. Our son is part of the House Band and enjoys playing at local events in support of many great causes. It's his way of giving back! He is also learning a new instrument. Started with Drums and now has picked up Bass. The skill sets of the team are incredible. The Performance Group and Summer Camps are a great way for kids (and adults) to get started in music. It allows them to learn and perform while learning and honing their musical skills. Hats off to everyone at the School of Rock -- San Jose!!!

I like that the school allows students to join a band so they can practice what they have learned in a band setting. However, not many family can afford for both lessons and band.
