It's been great to see my daughter's growth as she moved from Rock 101 and progressed into performance band - she's been pushing herself out of her comfort zone and I love how the teachers have helped her with that. Thank you.

Everything! The teachers. The kids. The variety. It’s all wonderful. So much support for kids that probably normally would be in the background.

We’ve been very happy with the band experience and lessons. It’s been great for my kids to gain confidence and learn lifelong skills. The only thing my son has complained about recently is the drum sets, due to the sound proofing. He doesn’t like the feel or sound. Other than that, we’re very happy at SOR!!

Everyone is part of something bigger. The students are encouraged to be the type of musicians they create into naturally. There is theory, experimentation, paralleling and creating all happening. The shows are amazing because if we can conquer any hangups about performing young the future is ours. I find all the staff as true stewards sharing their knowledge of music gladly to the next generation. Music is too important to our sense of culture, expression and storytelling. It’s cool that the students are exposed to genres that may not be their initial interests and they kill it just the same. Very well structured phenomena going on at School of Rock!!

The teaching is age appropriate and fun for my five year old. It’s her favorite activity and loves to play drums in class! Gregory is kind and great with the kids.

The band part if the program helps give a focused direction in the Individual lessons, and provides opportunity to collaborate and work with peers. The program is great at exposing students to a variety of music genres, it has certainly expanded our daughter’s music. The staff are amazingly positive and supportive of student’s goals, and great at inspiring students to try new things. Staff at SOR has created and fostered a fun, lively environment.

We love the friendships, the owners of Santa Rosa SOR, and the teachers/directors that work there. Our son will soon be going to SOR four days a week because it is his happy place!
