Instructors are great. The atmosphere is so comfortable. Students are allowed to express and be themselves , which promotes self confidence. Can’t find this anywhere else. The programs at SOR provide students with a foundation for learning music which allows them to do anything they desire !

Excellent instruction and great fun rehearsing and playing out. The program and supportive positive peer pressure of playing with other people is motivational. You don't want to let your fellow musicians down. Learning occurs at the edge of your comfort zone. The School of Rock personnel and other musicians are all incredibly supportive so ultimately it is a very positive learning environment and experience.

The programs and music directors are exemplary! They challenge my twins weekly to improve as musicians while supporting their dreams of music. We love our school of rock family.

I have so many positive things to say about the Scottsdale School of Rock but for the sake of keeping this short….. Michelle, Melody and Graham go above and beyond to welcome everyone who walks through the doors. I drop my son off with confidence knowing he will feel safe and a part of a community (plus receive excellent instruction) every single time.

The instructors are so passionate about music. They work with my kiddo to make her comfortable and to find music that is meaningful to her. They take the time to foster a love of music before teaching the theory.

Performance based classes are the way to go! Students get so excited to learn and practice when they are preparing for a concert at a real venue in front of a audience! The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and have helped challenge my son, and their industry knowledge is so interesting to him! As an aside - the sound at Walter Studios was MUCH better this time :)

Great teachers, great staff and fabulous adult program. Even Mamas like to be rockstars and SOR's adult program gives the opportunity to learn quickly, play well with others and finally get to jam on a real stage like our teenage selves always dreamed of. Seriously, this school is not just for kids!

SOR has given my daughter so much confidence. It's amazing to see how brave she's become, willing to try new things, and put herself out there. Not to mention the music skills she is acquiring. It's great to have her feel like she's on a "team" of like-minded individuals.

Everyone says one of the fastest ways to improve as a musician is to play with other people. The great thing about the School Of Rock concept is that it gets you playing with musicians of all skill sets in a very supportive environment. Also, where else can you practice where you have no set up and everything is already set up for you. You basically show up plug-in and rehearse. Finally it’s a blast to play on stage at the final performance.

Teaches my child to work independently and collaboratively to work towards a common goal. It is group of his peers that all are individuals, yet support each other through the learning of the song process and the final delivery of a show in a fun process. It’s a fun, safe place for my child to hang out, be himself and develop individually and be accepted without pressure.
