My son feels like the SoR is a haven. He loves sharing and experiencing his passion for music with likeminded kids and teachers. The staff are all awesome and seem genuinely happy to be there. Everyone is respectful and welcoming. Thanks for all you do!

the instructors are great and we like that the season shows provide an opportunity to play a live show at a real venue

Students learn from practicing musicians who are experts in their field. SOR teaches music fundamentals, history of music through classics, and how to work with others in a creative environment. Learning to support other band members and best practices for communicating on a piece of music or a live performance is a good exercise for all things to come later in their adult life. Double thumbs up!!

The SoR staff is outstanding. They are all talented musicians who have excellent teaching skills and are well suited to instruct kids. My kids have enjoyed their instructors tremendously, and have learned to love good music and are self-motivated to practice and be part of a band. The performance based learning has elevated their interest in becoming musicians. As a parent, I have enjoyed the entire program and process. Seeing my kids inspired and making friends with peers along with watching their confidence increase has been magical. I have also had extremely positive experiences working with the SoR mgt helping to direct and place my young kids into appropriate groups to enable fun, comfortable and inclusive transitions.

Great kid-focused space where the instruction is encouraging, the guidance is kind but firm, and interest in music is nurtured.

The kids are able to feel like individuals and learn the importance of working together to be cohesive in a band. My own child doesn't like team sports like soccer, football.. etc where traditionally "learning to work together in a team environment" is a big proponent. School of Rock and other alternatives that are less physically involved but have involvement are wonderful but can be difficult to find.

They are great for my son, the community is supportive and we are very happy with the teachers too!! Love the post class reports. Just a line gives us a lot of information about how things are going. Thank you!

The environment is so cool and perfect for kids who are exploring music, rock and the rock scene in general. Very welcoming staff and my kid had two great teachers. It is a 10 for me.

Our son comes home happy - and he seems to be learning some musical notes and concepts too.

SOR has been a wonderful experience for our son. His time here is as fun as it is productive. I never have to argue with him to do his drum lessons, I can't keep him off of his drum set. He wants to do well for his teacher and band mates. For such a laid back kid, when it comes to SOR, he is so driven. He is taking so much more away from his lessons than playing drums. His teacher has made it look effortless and fun and has given so much confidence to Chase. Matt has been such a positive influence for Chase and he can't wait for his lesson each week. I can't wait to put my youngest in the program when he is ready!
