They not only teach how to play instruments, but they teach performance and playing with others in a band.
I am so glad Lucas changed from a previous SOR to The Colony. I'm not exaggerating when I say he feels part of a musical family and he has been able to create this great circle of friends. He has blossomed under Rich's tutelage and we couldn't be happier.

We ❤️🖤❤️ SoR The Colony! Our 8.5 yr old daughter has been playing playing there for a year and a half now and she is obsessed. She started with guitar and the Friday 101 band, then added vocals for a while but decided that's not her favorite, so now she's playing keys as well as guitar with the Wednesday 101 band, and is thinking she wants to add bass to her repertoire next!
These kids have SO MUCH FUN together and are really learning how to perform as a group. In fact, at their mid-season show this past weekend, a few of the kids got to do one of the songs without any instructors helping them along. It was super cool to see and hear them rock out with no training wheels, so proud of themselves for what they could accomplish together. Our daughter's progress is undeniable!
I cannot express enough how grateful we are to be part of the SoRTC family- that's how it feels there, like family. I get the warm and fuzzies every time I go in because the entire staff is amazing. Not only are they talented teachers, you can tell they really care about the kids. They are true artists, rockstars, teachers, and mentors, each with the perfect amount of goofball in them to keep the kids engaged.
Keep doing what you do, SoRTC!!

They make every kid that walks through that door feel special and important. Their love of what they do truly shines. I would highly recommend taking your music loving child here. They have been doing a great job in teaching our granddaughter how to progress her talent and enthusiasm in singing. Thank you SOR

We absolutely LOVE being a part of the family at The Colony School of Rock!! Our daughter has been taking lessons and enjoying her band there for over a year now and her progress is impressive. She has made new friends and expanded her musical interest from guitar at first, to exploring vocals and keys as well. Her enthusiasm for SoR is inspiring and we are thrilled we decided to give it a shot!

The kids know that School of Rock is a safe place for them to be themselves and be loved. My daughter has grown so much since joining - it’s quite unbelievable. The students in the program have all become great friends and are learning valuable life skills together, such as teamwork, communication, and leadership.
