My kid really enjoyed the school of rock again! He learned so much about song writing and learned all the things a song needs and requires! He always loves playing the instruments there every year he goes there and there’s so many thing to pick from! Which is why we do this every year. All the instructors are really nice and they all make playing the instruments fun! Your kid gets to reside what instrument they want to play for each song weather or not they take lessons and already know the song or if they want to try something new and are curious about learning something about a new instrument. We are for sure doing this next year!
We love School of Rock. The instructors are supportive and energetic about music. My child feels supported and enjoys going to band practice and his lessons. I love that kids gets to be in a band; it creates community and increases enthusiasm for music.
One on one instructors are always willing and able to help my child work on any song from any genre they are interested in learning during private lessons. All staff members are always welcoming and friendly!
My son loves his lessons with his teacher. He enjoys learning new music and being introduced to new artists all who he ultimately ends up being fans of. Most importantly he leaves his lesson pumped about music and his love for playing drums.
Instructors are excellent; knowledgeable, patient, kind, and attentive. Scaffolded instruction and positive reinforcement are two key teaching tools that their instructors do well. Their manager and front desk staff are very friendly and make everyone feel safe and welcome. The only set back this place has, and it is in no way a reflection on the manager or staff, but the company, is the high tuition cost. Guitar Center offers the same individual lesson format for half of the price for 30 min and 1 hour lessons. Music education is fading away from kids year by year but private lessons should be affordable for families of all income levels.
