I like the performance program

Angelo is one of the best guitar instructors that has walked through the doors of School of Rock Wayne. Before I get into why, I need to talk about how involved he is in the school. He runs shows, takes pictures at the end of season shows, assists with houseband gigs, and just does everything he can to make things flow more smoothly and allow everyone to have a better experience. Having someone so versatile on the staff is a big bonus because he's had such an impact on so many different types of students. He has so much knowledge on so many different topics, both musical and real life. I know for me, we used his jazz piano skills to help me learn my jazz band music this past year. His biggest strength is his theory skills. He brought me to levels that I never thought I'd reach at my time at SOR. I'm very grateful for everything he's done for me as both an instructor and person and I wish him continued success even as I move on from my time at SOR Wayne!

My 10 year old daughter has been taking piano lessons for years at SOR and is now in the rock 101 band and thriving. The staff go above and beyond with teaching but also provide a place of inclusivity and safety. SOR allowed my shy daughter to feel comfortable and to be herself and she’s made many new friends of all ages. SOR also gives back to the community and I admire that. I can’t say enough positive things about SOR and highly recommend.

I like the fact that the kids learn music together and are able to give each other feedback. These programs have really changed my daughters outlook on music. Her confidence has grown in the last two shows alone and I am very proud of her and all the kids in the bands! Keep up the great work!

The process of teaching and vocal exercise since I have vocal skills improvement that makes me want to improve more and hopefully in when I go there more, I hope next time when I come there again they will guide me through how to make my own music Best Nathalie Hidalgo

Angelo, my teacher is so knowledgeable and patient. He is helpng me to understand the music and is fostering my becoming a musician (of sorts) not just someone who can play a few songs. The entire staff at SPR is warm and welcoming.

Rock band program and kids together practicing weekly is best way of learning team band performance.

I absolutely LOVE School of Rock Wayne! Every instructor and program director I've had has been amazing! Special kudos to my current instructors/program directors. Jonathan (vocal instructor/adult band director) was the first person I met at SoR Wayne. Let's just say I knew I was in the right place! RJ, (bass instructor/adult band director) is so patient, kind, knowledgeable. He is always positive and encouraging, never makes me feel old (which I am, lol!). I truly feel part of a supportive, loving, musical family!
