School of Rock White Plains is an awesome program! We are very happy with the quality and friendliness of the instructors and staff. Our child is very happy and engaged in the program, progressing on her primary instrument, drums. She has also started learning a second instrument, bass, which is awesome to see and a testament to how the program encourages the students not only on building musical skills, but also building confidence.

My son's instructor, Brian, is very passionate about music and teaching. He cares about his students from the bottom of his heart. Recently, he came to see my son at our school concert (it was his 2nd time visiting our school concert.) and my son was super excited to have him there. My husband and I truly believe that Brian is one of the biggest influencers for my son with his musical journey. Thank you Brian and Thank you SOR!

My child has gained a ton of knowledge and confidence. The atmosphere is homey and I love that SoR is a safe and inclusive place for kids. Most importantly, she feels part of a community, specifically one based on making and playing music.

School of Rock has been the best part of my son’s week for a few years now, he always looks forward to it! His growth as a musician through individual lessons and during performance group rehearsals has been tangible. The School of Rock has afforded my son an opportunity to do what he loves and to be the most authentic version of himself!

We love the personal instruction and feedback from the SOR teachers for both the one on one lessons as well as the group lessons. The level of detail and feedback when it comes to understanding the individual student as a person and as a musician is important to help make the student a better musician. One size fits all never works when it comes to one on one teaching and and in this case students playing different instruments. We are happy that the constructive criticism and feedback provided on a weekly basis is geared towards each specific student and understanding the students personality and way their brain works when it comes to learning.

School of Rock White Plains is a group of friendly, encouraging, and talented musicians and teachers. My child is very excited to go to their private and group lessons. As a parent, it is great to see the children perform at the end of a season. It gives the kids a sense of accomplishment and a goal to work towards. 10 out of 10!

My child has been happy with his VERY dedicated (and fun at the same time) teacher for over 6 years now. Brian is the teacher for many reasons but most of all, he knows what my child wants and what he feels like on the day of the lesson. Thanks Brian! :)

My son is always excited to attend his private lessons and to jam with his fellow bandmates. He has formed bonds with his instructors who are patient, kind and very talented! Their love for music is contagious and evident in the way they interact with the students of all levels.

School of Rock makes learning music fun. It’s nice to have an activity that bases learning and growth on enjoyment instead of competition. We like that it has a laid back vibe. All the instructors and leaders have been great—knowledgeable and also good with kids.

All of the instructors are extremely nice, knowledgeable and overall great teachers. The ease of working with the entire school when it comes to rescheduling lessons, constant communication and quick responses to email inquiries from both the instructors and the general manager make it very easy for parents. The positive nature of the instructors when it comes to encouraging the students is also important and great for the students confidence. My son has gotten so much better at drums since joining SOR White Plains and his passion for playing and practicing is a result of the great teaching by the SOR instructors. After every lesson at SOR my son comes home with a great smile and talks about how great his lesson was and what he learned that day.

School of Rock is a hub of talented musicians who will bring your musicianship to the next level of playing. The staff is super attentive to every students needs, and they take everyone's playing skills into consideration. The ability to play with other people in a band hones your listening skills and has allowed me to meet so many wonderful and interesting people. I would definitely recommend School of Rock to anyone who wants to learn an instrument or continue to educate themselves on their instrument.

I love the School of Rock White Plains very much. I’ve been a student in the Adult Program since they opened . I also love how the School of Rock runs their programs. I love the different types of music I get to learn even the ones I’m not familiar with. The Teachers are amazing Top notch. Drums are my everything and Ringo Richie isn’t going anywhere.
