Friendly place feels like a second family because you eventually meet new friends playing pickleball.
The only suggestion about the first pickleball tournament and how it was organized, KC did a great job managing it the only thing I ask is that you guys turn down the buzzer in the gymnasium it’s way too LOUD! Thank god I don’t wear a hearing aid!! Lol
Great staff, especially at the front desks.
Great water fitness instructors.
The remodeling is great, too, just wish there was an outdoor shower to rinse off the chlorine
100% recommended during the Summer. 4 days a week will get your kids more skills than 1-2 times per week. Instructors are patient and caring. Both my kids adored their instructors. Also their coordinator, Brianna, is very accommodating.
Someone says hello to me when I arrive. The people working out here are respectful of others and of the facility. I appreciate that there is a dress code. I appreciate that there is not loud music playing. I love all the windows I front of the cardio equipment.
Class is I attend are run by caring professionals. Classes start and end on time the facilities are clean and neat.
Instructors introduce themselves and reach out to new attendees. It has been my experience that regular participants in the classes introduce themselves to the new students to make them feel welcome.
Welcoming, friendly staff. Strong focus on providing services, equipment, experienced staff and programs for members of all ages... from child care through seniors... SF YMCA covers all the bases!
One comment: The facility renovations over the past several years are outstanding... well thought out, organized and add great value to membership. My only request is to add benches, say, in the hall outside the cycling studio, inside the workout (treadmill/elliptical/weight) room, maybe in other places so that there is an area to sit down to change shoes or relax for a moment.
Well done SF YMCA!
