They are very kind and good service for helping mothers and families with young children’s with special needs and not special needs bring the feeling of a family oriented community .
It's a great facility but the dues are quite high probably due to the fact that they unnecessarily add new equipment a little too often. If that's your thing then this Y is for you.
Great instructors!
One of the class rooms is way too hot. The one ai do yoga in is fine, so why can’t the other class room be fixed as it is a safety issue of the members!
My boys told me it was their favorite camp of the summer. They loved the variety of activities and the camp counselors made the experience memorable. Thanks for a great week! 😊
Love the Y. Been a member since 1987.
So here’s what irritates me! There are only 3 benches where the free weights are located. My pet peeve is people who spread out a towel, get their weights and put them on the bench. Then proceed to work out NEXT to the bench!!
My other pet peeve is the number of coaches who get up on the raised platform with their clients. Only 3 people can stretch on that raised platform. I’m a senior and need that as getting on the floor isn’t an option. Or the people who sit there reading their phones!!! Gym etiquette is lacking. Ugh.
Is there anyway to increase the number of benches? Not sure signage instructing people not to hog the benches will help, but at least I’ve registered my thoughts.
There is a good assortment of equipment. However,
I would like to see the gym monitored by staff more closely, specifically as it relates to the "rules" posted on the wall. There are many members doing weights who "drop" them startling people around them. AND the most annoying disregard for the rules are people (mostly young men), who surf on their phones between sets.
Thank you.
