SH is a group of sweet-tempered ladies who help old dudes and dudettes like me to deal with the ordinary challenges of life. These include shopping, driving to medical appointments and all the busy stuff we could once easily do but now can't. Old age comes to us all, if we're lucky (?), but we get weak, shaky and come to depend on others. Many of us are fortunate to have children or grandchildren nearby, but for those of who don't, SH is here!
Good companies are always well led, and none better than SH. Founder Karen Tierra is a hard-working, dedicated organizer who leads from the front. Her gentle and kind personality is an example to her colleagues. Since SH is flexible, I have met several of them, and they are all great.
I can only add that my experience with SH has been unfailingly positive, and I recommend them without reservation.

Adjustment to changes in circumstances allowed with no problem. For example, my daughter visited and she was able to eat with me. Also I will be out of town for the Christmas Holidays and the light housekeeping idea was invoked. After a year, my preferences in diet and procedures are well known.
There’s been several Senior Helpers that have cared for our mother as we have done. In addition, a few took it further by cleaning dishes in the sink, wiping the counters and using the swiffer to dust floors while our mother is sleeping. That was truly helpful at the time.
