Matthew negotiated with my insurance to increase hours to accommodate a hospital D/C. I had the same worker for the majority of my benefit. Then I had four different workers for the last 4 shifts. All the workers were great in their own personal. way. My only complaint was that after Arrienna quit, I did no get notice of my schedule for the last 4 visits regardless of my calling and saying so. I seemed to have to call to find out who and when someone was coming. MY recovery from hip surgery was well supported by the SEnior Helper agency. Now I find I need knee replacement on the opposite knee. Today Oct 22, I will see my surgeon and request a surgery date for early January so that I may again use Senior Helpers for after I get released from the hospital. This time I do not think I would need Matthew to negotiate longer hours per day as he did before, as I know what to expect my recovery to look like and hope that I respond to surgery and recovery as well as I did for the hip.
