My caregivers while older don't have to be told over and over what I want done around here. Once they know how I want things done, they get right on it with my care and we usually have fun and laughter as we get to know each other. This is very important to me.

The women that you send to help me are able to cook African American cuisine and help me keep the house straight. They help me do my laundry and get my cloth incontinence pads washed and clean as well as get my sheets on and off my bed. They vacuum, and load up the dishwasher (, when I insist on it),. They empty the trash each day and the trashcan for Friday pickup. They take me to the grocery store and pickup my meds from the pharmacy. The downstairs bathroom is always kept clean and the kitchen floor is mopped whenever I have spills from my attempts to cook for myself. I appreciate their help and their company. They take my mind off of the loneliness I quite often feel. I look forward to the Aide who comes each day. Thank you Senior Helpers.

There worker is very professional in the carrying out of her duties. I do not need to worry about who is working each day nor do I need to worry about making to my schedule appointments. I have had my worker for over a year and I have not missed any appointments; because, my caregiver is a person who comes to work.

All the helpers who have been with my wife have been truly exceptional. Very caring. Also very efficient in their time. Somehow they manage to take care of her as well as many household tasks, cleaning counters, floors, laundry. When I get back home not only is my wife in great spirits but the house always looks great. The scheduling staff is also amazing. My schedule tends to change as do our circumstances - I'm out of town now but we have a good friend of ours staying with her. I inquired about canceling some of the helpers we had lined up and we did so without problem or penalty.

You are always there for us —night and day. Everyone cares and wants to help. Most CNA s sent have been very well trained and able to do what s necessary in a safe way. What is best is that these helpers care. It shows.

I like the fact that it matters to you who I choose to come into my home to help me with my care. That Senior Helpers shows respect to me for my choices. It would help you guys a lot if you'd hire African Women who know how to cook American dishes. These women are friendly and fun. They clean my house well. But when I am recovering from illness or surgery I 'need' a caregiver who knows how to cook the food I eat so that I can get better. I'm not from Africa! It's important that I don't have to get up and go to a grocery store and then have to come home to cook because my caregiver doesn't know the first thing about African American dishes that I eat. It is very challenging to my recovery.
